I’m going to start off this weeks list with some delicious moombahton tracks courtesy of Chong-X. His remix of Baauer‘s “Rollup” remix has been on repeat all week. Moombahton has slowly become a dying genre and its so nice to hear that there are new producers who still manage to shake up the genre. In his remix of Tifa’s “Champion Bubbler” he mixes his moombah style over a dancehall track. There is no way you won’t dance to this track.

In case you already weren’t aware, Diplo can do NO wrong. This week he teamed up with Grandtheft and released a trapstyle remix of Calvin Harris and Florence Welch’s song “Sweet Nothing.” Trapstyle isn’t something that Diplo produces much of, but I don’t think he could have done a better job with this remix.

Durkin is back with another dope remix that I had to post on the Yum Yum list. He takes Danny Brown’s borderline annoying track “Grown Up” and turns it into a song that is not only listenable but good!

Djemba Djemba is a producer from the UK who loves his synths and 808 kicks. He recently released this Ep on the Jeffress and has been getting praise from top Dj’s like Diplo. His “I Need You” retwerk remix had me hooked the minute I heard the drop at 25 seconds.

I’ve gotten tired of seeing every producer attempt to make trap music, they have to accept the fact that its not for everyone. Fortunately there are people like Cesqeaux who restore my faith in this increasingly popular genre. His “Babylon” remix gives the festival favorite a well executed trap twist.
