The Thread Bomb Pt.2

For those of you that have been with us since our inception, you may have remembered The Thread bomb we dropped on our first official day of launching this .com. Gigabytes of music straight to your hard drive. It was a glorious day. Music in abundance and a brand new website to get it from, commemorating where we started off this grand venture which ended up with SoundLogik. The Thread was our first effort to share music. A simple facebook group comprised of people all around the world sharing and discovering new tunes. You may not even realize that the community still lives on today, and has been a source of article inspiration, nostalgia, and everything in between. We love posting our obscure tracks on there and interacting with fellow threaders – consider it the SL VIP lounge, and you’re part of it.

We have big plans for The Thread and plan to integrate it as an integral part of SoundLogik in the future. Why? Because you guys have good taste in music too, and community interaction has been what we’ve wanted to encourage ever since the beginning. So, in celebration of reaching our 6,000th fan on facebook, we’re dropping a huge music bomb for everyone to enjoy, courtesy of The Thread. If you didn’t know of it, we encourage you to join us and share music with us.

There are 7 parts (mediafire links) to The Thread bomb , the first 3 parts comprised of dubstep/dnb/bangers/moombahton, the last 4 with all sorts of house/indie-electro/disco/everything else. All of these songs have been posted in The Thread over the last 8 months by members of the community, and we encourage you to go forth and explore these tunes. In an age where it’s getting more and more difficult to look for free music, here is The Thread’s gift to you. Sue us.
