SFTB – Waldo (Produced by Mike Zombie & Sango)
Rapper and Michigan native Waldo is making moves with intelligent and to the point lyricism, paired with a smooth cadence that flows over supreme production; in this case from Mike Zombie. Originally produced for Drake‘s single “Started From The Bottom”, Sango adds to the production mix with a little more pop on the snares and ethereal effects that add a moving trip to this club banger. No strangers to collaboration, the Grand Rapids, Michigan pairing of Sango and Waldo collaborated late last year on an exceptional EP which can be found here. One of many reasons why we’re expecting even greater things in the coming months from these two.
