Sifting through page after page of music was beginning to take its toll on me. That is until I came across the one who calls himself Sabrepulse. Ashley Charles (Sabrepulse) is definitely holding it down for the UK with his amazing production skill. Ashley utilizes technology from our childhood, notably the Nintendo Gameboy, in conjunction with modern sequences to bring his unique sound to life. His compositions are intricate and melodic yet subtly powerful and full bodied. Its been a while since some dnb came along and caught my ear putting me back on that bass head tip. Sabrepulse’s latest EP First Crush is an elegant mesh of dnb, electro-house, and 8bit madness. Ashley makes it super simple to cop his EP as it is available for full download on his BandCamp page. Don’t sleep on this one friends!
