Hello my friends. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to meet on this level, but now that our first ever party was a great success and Thanksgiving has passed, it’s feeling like an appropriate time to congregate our minds and focus on the future, in an attempt to set a common mindstate for us all to perpetuate into not only our own daily lives, but those that associate with us.

With the success of our recent event, we at SL have been able to re-evaluate and set higher goals for ourselves. We’re more excited about our future than ever, and wish that these feelings are prevalent within and about your life as well.

We weren’t always as confident though. At the start of this website venture we were unsure if we’d ever gather a loyal following, and even at the start of party planning we were weary we’d be able to sell out the small venue we were taking over. In fact, someone associated with the venue warned me that no other party thrown in this particular area had gone successfully charging $10 at the door (we charged $20) on a weekend, and we were doing this on a Tuesday night mind you. Still, we believed in ourselves, our ability to achieve our goal, and surpassed it. Not to over-pat ourselves on the back or anything, but there’s something to be said about having faith and believing in yourself. Faith is a powerful thing.

So, to keep this somewhat short and sweet, we’ll leave you with this. We all may not be in the immediate position of success, but that doesn’t mean you won’t ever reach it. Don’t ever let the prospect of failure deter you from your goal. And most importantly, stay ambitious. Whether it’s now or later, your time will come.
