Back on April 21, confined to the tracks of a steel octopus stretching its legs across the country, three bands brought us back to the times of the goldrush and spitoons.  The three biggest names in our contemporary folk music movement, Mumford and Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Old Crow Medicine Show came together for a legendary performance.  They called it the Railroad Revival Tour.

The bands made only 6 stops on this tour traveling exclusively on vintage railroad cars.  Where the tracks led, they followed, setting up a glorious festival in a train depots equipped with art, sculptures, and a stage to perform.  To commemorate this incredible event they decided to release a LIVE album recorded on the tour.  They recently released the album exclusively to those who attended the concert, and I couldn’t keep that to myself.

Ladies and gentlemen, I know it ain’t the blood-pumpin EDM we’re used to, but there’s something about these heart-thumping recordings that will get you two-steppin.
