Modek is no stranger to our pages, and will continue to be showcased as long as he keeps up his killer style of techno/electro. Following up his Willow/Dust and The Brink EPs on Lektroluv over the last few months, Modek unleashes The Family EP today via the Belgian imprint which may just be his best work yet. The dark, jumpy techno is similar to Gesaffelstein and Brodinski, however in my humble opinion, is a little more gritty with acid and warehouse influences. His Lektroluv releases have seen support from Boys Noize, Etienne De Crecy, Proxy and more, and he’ll continue to rise in the ranks of the techno masters as long as he keeps pumping out tracks of this quality.
