MixHell – Antigalactic

Now this is what I call a mindblowing release, and for multiple reasons. For one, MixHell‘s Boys Noize Records debut EP Antigalactic is some mind bending journey through time, space, and bass that will captivate you as well as cause your feet to move. It’s a great track, and accompanied by amazing remixes by some of my favorite producers, Mumbai Science and Gui Boratto. The Mumbai Science take actually beats out the original! Which I didn’t think was possible after I previewed the original first.

But wait, it gets better. MixHell is actually a husband and wife duo. Ya, that’s super tight. The couple consists of Iggor Cavalera, originally the drummer for Brazilian super-band Sepultura, who’s combining his talents with his wife Laima to form MixHell. Their live shows consist of Laima behind all the DJ technology while Iggor is smashing away on the drums, something akin to Travis & DJ-AM.
