Heidi ho neighborinos! This past week saw a gang of new house releases. Here are some of mine and soon to be your favorites.
Dahlback has been messing around with tech-house lately, resulting in new tracks like Feel It. This track along with a few other freshies made onto Dahlback’s recently released compilation “Toolroom Knights” on Toolroom Record. Scope it.

Here’s a duo I am super excited to talk about. The Lunde Bros are a Swedish group that is taking Swedish house is a new direction. We’ve come accustom to the sounds and stylings of swedes like Avicii and SHM, who produce happy-go-lucky tracks like Levels and Save the World. The Lunde Bros, however, give swedish house a heavier rave sound. The duo released a two track EP in late January that included If You Wanna and Knifeproblems, which sounds like a hybrid of Jack Beats and Chuckie in my opinion (really sick). They then released Flatbeats and Some Kind Of Monster earlier this week. Pay close attention to these guys cus I have a feelin we are going to be seeing a lot more of these guys in the near future.

It seems like everyone is starting to get on the techno train these days. A prime example is Nicky Romero‘s latest release Generation 303. Utilizing the classic 303 sound, Romero takes a sidestep outside his usually pop-house sound to create a warehouse banger. Romero has been on my DJ hit list for a minute now and I finally get to see him at LED’s Anniversary Party on Feb 19th. Supa Stoked!
I haven’t really payed attention to Otto in the past, but I will now. I have a few of his remixes, but this track is straight house FIRE. Appropriately named Million Voices, this track embodies all the dramatic vocals and builds that make house music great. Its a keeper!!
SL has been pumping Tommy Trash for a while now and I don’t see that fading anytime soon. Trash has been working hard churning out banger after banger after banger. In addition to his slew of recently released original tracks, Tommy has been killing it in the remix game. Antidote: Banger. Ladi Dadi: Banger. Build Up: Banger. I am really really stoked to see him at LED Anniversary!!!
