Lately it seems like a lot of producers are remixing classic techno tunes and doing a very good job at it. Maybe they’re running out of new ideas, or just giving these endearing songs new life. Whatever it is, you should get up and jam or sit back and enjoy the view.

First at bat is a great rework of Tiesto‘s classic track Love Comes Again. Hardwell does an excellent job of making the track more beat heavy while still keeping the original ambient vibe. I had a chance to hear this song live when Hardwell played it at Sensation White in Denmark and it was a crowd pleaser.
Second is Hardwell’s newest release Munster. Although Munster is a little too reminiscent of his banger with Tiesto Zero 76, the track is still pretty good.

Can’t get enough of De La Mare at the moment. Here, Luigi Rocca and Mare put an Italian spin on the classic Fragma track Toca’s Miracle. The remix replaces the trance and progressive theme with more of a tech-house flavor. This mix is a little lengthy, but if you know whats good for you you’ll listen to it the whole way through.

These Mat Zo tracks aren’t remakes, but they’re pretty chill so I had to fit them in. Zo is starting to really make a name for himself in the progressive house realm. Bipolar starts off with a heavy(ish) electro sound, but about 1.15 into the track it gets real progressive real quick. The piano synth reminds me of old school Deadmau5 which is always a good thing.

Simple Things is a great track that takes us back to simpler times when synths were soft, melodies were king, and no one knew what the fuck a build was. Really good stuff.

Long time European house producer Richard Grey successfully put his contemporary mark on Modjo‘s classic track Lady. I was a little apprehensive at first –due to the fact that the original is absolutely perfect– but was pleasantly surprised by Grey’s edit. The bass gets turned up a bit and a few tech-house samples deepen the groove.

I’ve been waiting for this release even since Garner release a tiny teaser last March. Traffic is one of the most iconic beats in the history of techno (if you’ve been following house music before it hit the radio that is) and I’m glad Garner does a great job remixing it. Garner throws in some primal low range wubs and a heavier synth to make this a primal masterpiece. #ravebanger
