Label spotlight: MEXA + “MEXA Xummer Xampler”

Our spotlight this week is focused on one of the fastest growing Deep house labels in North America, MEXA. The label founded by producer Louie Fresco has made a big name for itself in recent months with big releases from the likes of Lee Foss, Lee M Kelsall and Ashley Wild. The label was founded in Mexicali, Mexico the epicenter of one of the hottest house scenes to ever come out of Mexico. The Mexicali deep house scene has gained more notoriety in recent months with the recent successes of Climbers, Louie Fresco and the formation of MEXA. The mexican deep scene has a very distinct feel and flavor to it. The deep, funky synth bass-lines typically highlight most of the tracks with a more upbeat tech house vibe then its deep house predecessors in the UK. Regardless the Mexican sound has really taken off and looks to be the new hottest thing in the house community. To highlight this rising subgenre of Deep House MEXA has compiled a “Xummer Xampler” for us. The sampler includes big new names in the deep house scene and looks to help promote that quintessential Mexican sound that appears to be the new hot sound of this summer. Make sure to keep an eye out on MEXA as they look to take the house scene by storm. To follow MEXA refer to the provided links below and be sure to check out the “Xummer Xampler” featured below.
