Justin Jay – Everything EP

just jay

just jay

Dirtybird‘s youngest member Justin Jay continues to cement himself as one of the most promising producers coming out of LA and the West Coast in general. At a young age, he’s already garnered the support from the boss bird Claude Vonstroke himself, and now sees an EP release on Fatboy Slim‘s Southern Fried Records. It’s safe to say the yung1 has a nice career ahead of him if he continues to make the right moves.

The Everything EP consists of two original tracks, Everything and Into The Night, that are both extremely melodic and well balanced. Everything features a deep groovy 808 bassline, classic piano stabs that really sounds like the new breed of classic house coming out of europe right now. Into The Night has a bit of a heavier bassline with effective claps and high hats that are a staple of many of Justin’s productions. The vocal sample is prime as well. The EP also features remixes by one of our favorite up and comers Frogs In Socks, as well as Jack Fell Down.

By the way, the above picture was taken at our weekly house music night at Quality Social called The Deep End. Last Sunday we had Justin Jay come into town and absolutely wreck the place. Just look how happy he looks.
