Introducing: Shadow Child

Shadow Child‘s debut EP hit Dirtybird Records in late March to a whirlwind of response, much due to the lead track String Thing being pumped for months in big boss Claude VonStroke‘s and Eats Everything‘s sets. The name was unfamiliar and with only two official remixes under his belt before the original EP on dirtybird, it seemed as if Shadow Child was the next breakout star to come out of nowhere and take the UK bass scene by storm. Upon further investigation however, the new alias belongs to an old friend of the UK dance scene and BBC Radio1, Dave Spoon. With the current merging of the Dirtybird and UK Bass movements, the sound and Shadow Child are both set to take off world-wide. Check out the hit String Thing below along with Shadow Child’s May Blend which features the exact sound Mr. Spoon is trying to perpetuate. Bassline house with no rules.
