Try to image a world were everything went exactly according to plan. Neither can I. Is it though, so hard to believe that for once things just worked out the way they were supposed to. Unfortunately for just about everything, what can go wrong, will go wrong, despite our best or minimal efforts. That being said, a wise friend once told me, “its all about timing. You have to be at the right place at the right time. You can put in all the effort you want, but if you’re not there when it counts, well then you’re not there when it counts. ” This sound piece of advice then poses the question, when is the right time? Is there a right time? And how do I know? After some pondering and a bit of “bad timing”, I realized that there is no way to synthesize the right moment. No way to second guess one. Missed opportunities and ideal moments and fondled together, boosting the former and camouflaging the latter. What we must do then, is be prepared. Ready to pounce on the perfect timing. Because when the opportune moment appears, which it will, we’ll be there. Ready, for everything to go exactly according to plan.
