French Fries | ‘Mother French’ + ‘What To Do’

Beats from the French specialist of bass tricks are similar to the food that his alias is derived from. Unassuming at first look (or listen in our case), with the salty flavor of French Fries taking form in the rapid, interchanging drum patterns. Of course the texture is just about perfect, a blend of heavy starch and bass that fit perfectly with the heat of a freshly cooked track.

French Fries is no joke. His ingenuity as a producer has lead him to recognition in Europe over the last couple of years, including being picked up as part of the ClekClekBoom imprint, releases on Dirtybird, recently having remixes released on OWSLA for Skrillex and Birdy Nam Nam, and even being a part of Snoog Dogg‘s ‘Loose Joints’ compilation. The track on the compilation, titled Mother French, is a perfect example of the ghetto, high energy bass music that French Fries is known to produce. His latest solo EP on ClekClekBoom is another one of our recent favorites, featuring the underground instant classic What To Do. Peep both below and make sure to follow French Fries as he continues to perpetuate a new sound.
