**SoundLogik will be attending Coachella Music Festival this upcoming April and we’re extremely stoked, to say the least. Since a one post preview of the entire weekend and all of our favorite artists would be horrifically inadequate, we decided to start our “Coachella Daze” series which will feature Coachella artists/songs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on their respective show day leading up to the event. Fellow Logikians, it’s time to get dazed.
Since releasing their self-titled album back in 2004, the New York duo, Ratatat, have been confusing soundwaves on a journey towards a cult-like following. Listening to Ratatat for the first time can change how you perceive music; it almost transcends the classification as music. Many are shocked to learn they actually play instruments live, with all those crazy sounds coming from a deep knowledge and experimentation with their instruments.
Charmingly toying with classic guitar based sounds combined with curious synthesizers their style continues to progress as their knowledge grows. LP4, their fourth album, was released in 2010 and boasted a slew of fun new songs and continued following.
Make sure to go and snag the album so your worries are slight when you’re dazed. [buy]

[BONUS!]
High Contrast is a Welsh Drum & Bass producer that will blast your face off. Fast, fun, and lots of drums. Make sure to catch this guy if you get a chance, as he plays a style of DnB utilizing pop overtones that is less filthy than uplifting.
Are you ready for the weekend? This song may be credited with installing the underpinnings for what eventually became SoundLogik. It’s old, but guaranteed to put a smile on your face and get you psyched on life.
