SoundLogik will be attending Coachella Music Festival this upcoming April and we’re extremely stoked, to say the least. Since a one post preview of the entire weekend and all of our favorite artists would be far too lengthy, we decided to start our “Coachella Daze” series which will feature Coachella artists/songs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on their respective show day leading up to the event. Fellow Logikians, it’s time to get dazed.

You’re five years old and antsy.  Your feet keep bouncing up and down.  Excitement is bubbling out of you like the aftermath of a mentos/coke experiment and all you want to do is dance.  Welcome to fidget house.  If you’re not sure what the genre is I would describe it as taking the wobbles off the dub train and applying them to house in a dark but always energetic fashion.  In my opinion Jack Beats define this genre better than anyone else.  While they’re moving a bit away from pure fidget lately, they’ve done an incredible job bringing it into the consciousness of EDM.  I HIGHLY recommend you see these guys live, particularly if you like the heavy filth of dubstep, but find it a little too dark at times.  These guys bring dark and filthy to the heavens.

Fun and experimental, Revolution shows the versatility and incredible talent of this duo.  A great lens looking into the future of Jack.

Of course you’ve got to give this one a listen.  La Roux has made an incredible name with tracks like In For the Kill and this one does justice to that name.

Here’s a remix of one of our favorite 8-Bit monsters.  Amazing track showing exactly how dark can be fun.

DJ Zinc will be performing at the Chellers as well, a London native with a stated disregard for accepted genre terms.  Oh and this one happens to be remixed by Jack Beats ya dig?
