Caspa is the friendliest ghost producing from his West London haunts.  Many would argue he is the dubstep genius alongside label-mate Rusko.  He is the man behind three of the biggest most prolific quality dubstep labels Dub Police, Sub Soldierz, and Storming Productions who proudly host huge dupstep names like Emalkay, Trolley Snatcha, Subscape, and The Others. His biography clearly states, “If you don’t know Caspa, you don’t know dubstep.” Agreed.  The production quality of his tracks always smell of perfection, a goal many dubstep producers fail to achieve.  Caspa somehow manages to infuse class within a series of serious wobbles that makes his tracks accessible to those not into listening to whales mate but still fulfills members of the grime-nation.

I Remember was the track that put the Mau5 on the global map.  He’d already played huge festivals around the world, and perormed an Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, but this track put him on the ipods of millions.  Caspa took the track to some next level steez.  Keeping the beauty and elegance of the original, he gave it a whisper of wobble that was just right.  A classic throwback track that is a must have for any blossoming EDM portfolio.

Bonus: Chase & Status

If you listen carefully, you’ll hear this track in Caspa’s Essential Mix.  AND Chase & Status will be performing on Sunday at Coachella.  *Edit: They released their new album “No More Idols” last month, and are a quality duo with a great track record.  They recently took home “Best Live Act” at the 2011 Drum & Bass Awards.  Should you see them live at Coachella?
