Coachella Saturdaze | SBTRKT

SoundLogik will be attending Coachella Music Festival this upcoming April and we’re extremely stoked, to say the least. Since a one post preview of the entire weekend and all of our favorite artists would be far too lengthy, we decided to start our “Coachella Daze” series which will feature Coachella artists/songs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on their respective show day leading up to the event. Fellow Logikians, it’s time to get dazed.

SBTRKT is a London based producer not looking for fame or fortune. He spends his time picking apart genres of EDM, mixing and meshing them to his liking and our auditory pleasure. Staying hidden behind a tribal mask, there’s not much to be found about SBTRKT, which is just the way he wants it. In an interview SBTRKT said, “I’ve always looked at artists and don’t see how their personal life really fits in – it always seems quite bland compared to how your persona as an artist is.” this about sums up everything I was trying to say about him in the above paragraph. His music sounds like something that we’d expect to hear pulsing from the DO Lab stage, utterly entrancing and beautiful. [buy]

Bonus Coachella! – Yelle

Yelle is a French band founded by lead singer and namesake, Yelle and GrandMarnier. A third member, Tepr, joined the band to complete there pop/dance/indie sound. My friends over at the Smoking Section had this to say about Yelle “A few years old and still fresher than your New Year’s Eve outfit, this audible packet of fruit snacks will literally mean absolutely nothing to most of you.
