SoundLogik will be attending Coachella Music Festival this upcoming April and we’re extremely stoked, to say the least. Since a one post preview of the entire weekend and all of our favorite artists would be far too lengthy, we decided to start our “Coachella Daze” series which will feature Coachella artists/songs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on their respective show day leading up to the event. Fellow Logikians, it’s time to get dazed.

After listening to Walking On a Dream, it will come at no surprise that the members from Empire of the Sun are Australian. Their production quality keeps up with the top notch tunes we’ve been receiving from down under. Not straying far from the dancey, pop-synth sound of MGMT the band manages to sound fresh and unique. Rave reviews of their extravagant live show have simplified one of my guaranteed time-slot dilemmas. Two guys, armor, crazy outfits and one of the best visual shows out promises to be one of the best sets of the weekend. Some may have been unplugged from the digital world and missed the outstanding remixes of their hit track We Are the People, of which the Shazam remix was blatantly logikal (don’t miss it again). Bonus Coachella – Foals

5 dudes from Oxford making music together.. I hesitated for a split second before pushing play too. Definitely out of the loop when it came to the Foals. Yeah sure I heard their cover of One by Swedish House Mafia, but who hasn’t? I have since equipped myself with Foals logik, which doesn’t seem to be expiring from my daily playlist anytime soon.
