SoundLogik will be attending Coachella Music Festival this upcoming April and we’re extremely stoked, to say the least. Since a one post preview of the entire weekend and all of our favorite artists would be far too lengthy, we decided to start our “Coachella Daze” series which will feature Coachella artists/songs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on their respective show day leading up to the event. Fellow Logikians, it’s time to get dazed.

This edition of Fridaze is filled with large amounts of WOMP, and if you look at the EDM featured at this year’s Coachella you’ll find most of the dubstep listed on Friday. With heavy-hitters like 12th planet, Magnetic Man, Skrillex, and Breakage listed on Friday, dubstep lovers will be occupying the Sahara Tent in full force.

12th planet‘s alias is based on the mysterious 12th planet that allegedly passes through our solar system on a very wide elliptical orbit every 3,600 years. The theory itself is out of this world, and so is 12th Planet’s production and live DJ sets. He’s one of the pioneers of dubstep here in the United States, and having witnessed 12th Planet live on a few occasions I can attest that this man delivers the heaviest of goods. Just be aware that you may end up partially paralyzed from a bass induced daze.
