One of the biggest reasons why SL loves doing Coachella Daze posts is because they make us listen to artists that we usually don’t make time to listen to.  We Were Promised Jetpacks is one such band that I’m glad I have started listening to. Formed in 2003, the Scottish indie rock group took six years to release their well received first album “These Four Walls” in 2009. The group released their sophomore LP “In the Pit of the Stomach” about a season ago in Oct 2011. WWPJ is (imo) apart of a dying bread of purely indie rock groups. Their music is heavily drum based coupled with repetitive melodic guitar and bass. My favorite track from their newest album would have to be Act On Impulse. The track builds in intensity throughout the song, but  keeps an even keel. Relaxing and empowering at the same time. #CoachellaMusic
