Lane 8 has been, lowkey, dishing out some quality disco tracks the past few months. Based in San Francisco, Lane 8 has a west coast take on dance and disco that combines a unique blend of deep house bass, tropical vibes, and throwback funk. He released a three track EP titled “We Won’t Know” earlier this summer and rolls through the current heatwave with a feel good remix of Brandy’s “Never Say Never”. Pretty much anything with Brandy vocals is good, but Lane 8′s sexy bassline shifts my shoulders just the right amount.
